Children in Need Charity Fundraising!
Everyone at Laughton would like to congratulate Laura Keeley for raising an amazing £320.10 for children in need on Friday night!
Laura bravely rode a round of jumps bareback to raise money for the appeal, having hit her target of £200, two fences were raised to 1.10m! Well done to her, and a big thank you to everyone who sponsored her on the night.
14th October
TRAFFIC WARNING!
.
Please note that the A52 / A15 roundabout just north of Folkingham is scheduled for works to start 7pm Saturday to 6am Monday mornings on the following three weekends: 17th & 18th; 24th & 25th October and 31st Oct & 1st November.
We have spoken to the Highways department, and they have assured us that access from the south A15 will be unaffected and that they will put in place a suitable diversion for lorries. The shortest diversion back into Folkingham has an extremely tight left hand turn, so those with larger lorries might be advised to travel further south and back onto the A15 at Rippingdale or even beyond.
Apologies for any disruption to people traveling from the north, however the diversion should only add 15 - 25 mins extra travel time. Please allow extra travel time to compensate for this!
22nd September
.
Unfortunately, the Peter Tomlinson & Robyn Weatherall clinc on the 24th September has had to be postponed until a later date due to unforseen circumstances.
We apologise for any inconvenience, we will post the new date as soon as possible!
29th August - BEF Grading
Well done to all the team for a really good day at
BEF Futurity Grading at Solihull on 20th August.
Justa Boy (Darcy to those that know him) graded
Really well with a 1st Premium Grade of 8.89
Standing as Reserve Champion for 3 year old Eventers
He got outstanding marks of 9.5 out of 10 for Vetting
And 19 out of 20 for Athleticism with the remarks
“Good acceleration away from fence, good ground cover,
Quick hind leg. Ideal Eventing type, lots of stamina and
energy”.
A big thank you to Sarah and Clare for all their schooling,
and for producing him to such a high standard, and to Robyn
for showing him on the day. Darcy is a real credit to all the team
at LMEC (especially his Dam Byedali).
