Ponies Association UK Winter Dressage Rules Rules.
A) the 1st,2nd,and 3rd in each class to go forward to the P(uk) winter Dressage Finals.
B) Horse and Rider combination to qualify.
C) No horse/rider substitutions permitted whatsoever.
D) Rider to become a junior/senior Riders Club Member within 14 days of qualification
E) Classes will be judged according to British Dressage Rules.
F) Ordinary Snaffle Bridles only in all Preliminary and Novice tests (as per page 46 of the rule book)
G) Martingales and bearing, side or running reins of any kind are forbidden, whilst being ridden.
H) Bandages ,boots and any sort of blinkers may not be used when competing – but may be worn during warm up/cool down.
I) Breastplates and breast girths are permitted.
J) Spurs are permitted in qualifying rounds but NOT at the finals.
K) Whips are permitted in qualifying rounds but NOT at the finals.
L) Callers are permitted in qualifying rounds but NOT at the finals.
M) Flash or drop Noseband may be used in conjunction with the snaffle only.
N) Dressage arena size 20m x 40m
O) Competitors Taking part in two dressage class on the same day judged by the same ,shall not have access to their judging/score sheets before competing in the second test.
P) In all cases the Judges’ decision is final.
